Business Economics emphasizes on adding value to business with application of economic principles performs the unique role of bridging the gap between theoretical economics and business administration. The course imparts economic skills and problem-solving competencies necessary to deal with challenges posed by the increasingly complex and rapidly changing business environment.

             Recent developments in the world of economics and business calls for an inter- disciplinary approach to the study of the problems of business environment in particular and economy as a whole. The mechanics, dynamics and problematics of the process of Business Development can be meaningfully studied analysed only by taking recourse to a multi-disciplinary approach.
