Self Financing Library
One of the significant resource in the learning environment of the College is its library whose richness is assessed not only by the total number of books, journals and databases but by their quality and their use.
Library aims to serve the needs of faculty, students and other members of the library by providing an excellent collection of literature. The well furnished and air-conditioned BMS/BMM/BAF/BBI/BSc(IT)/BSc(CS)/M.Com library is located on the 6th floor of the Rizvi College of Arts, Science & Commerce Campus.
In order to facilitate self-learning among the students, the library is kept open from 8.00 am to 4 pm on working days.
The books issue and return service is also available to users from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Saturday. The Library follows the open access system.
The library has an extensive collection of books covering all aspects of Commerce, Business & Management, Mass Media Studies, Accounts and Finance, Banking and Insurance, Information Technology and Computer Science.
The Library is automated by using e-Granthalaya Software.
The Magazines and Journals are vital source for academic growth and up-to-date information on related subjects is available in different Indian and International Journals.
The Library has professional membership of Communications of the ACM - the essential source for computing professionals.

Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) is used for assigning subject codes to books. Every book in the library has a unique Subject Code, an author prefix and a unique Accession no.
Student members of this college will be issued Library Reference Ticket which will remain in force for the duration of the study year and shall not be transferable. To become a student member:
• Apply in prescribed form.
• Show original fee receipt.
• Submit 2 stamp size photographs.
• Fines are charged on overdue items.
