An industrial visit conducted by IT & CS departments to “IIIT –Pune” with stay at Lonavala on 4th & 5th March, 2020. This IV was conducted for all the students of IT & CS. Students were exposed to concepts of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. They were shown the working of a 3D printer installed at their centre. They were explained how different fields of Science & Technology will work in conjunction with each other in future
An industrial visit was conducted by IT & CS departments to “Aiolos Solutions Pvt. Ltd.” At Vikhroli West on 11th September 2019. This visit was conducted for third year students of CS & IT. Students were exposed to latest technologies and processes used by the company. In the end the students were given a small assignment to test their skills
An industrial visit was again conducted by IT & CS departments to “Aiolos Solutions Pvt. Ltd.” At Vikhroli West on 11th December 2019.This visit was conducted for those students who could not join in the first visit to Aiolos Solutions. Like before the students were exposed to latest technologies and processes used by the company. In the end the students were given a small assignment to test their skills
An industrial visit was conducted by CS/IT department on 4th Feb, 2012 for B.S.c.I.T. and B.Sc.C.S. students to ‘Reliance Energy Management Institute (REMI)’, Reliance Infrastructure Ltd., Goregaon(E). The students were shown how the various GIS softwares are used by the industry.
Every academic year the students of self financed courses are taken for an Industrial visit cum Outbound excursion trip.
The visit serves a twofold purpose. Firstly the Industrial visit gives the student a practical exposure to a live working environment in an industry. They get to interact with various department personnel in the visited industry and get first hand knowledge of their working. Secondly the Outbound excursion and trip makes for a bonding exercise between the students wherein a sense of mutual togetherness and team spirit is developed in the students. The students of different courses gel together and make for a stronger unit as a whole.

Excursion to Asangaon: A two days three nights botanical excursion to Asangaon forest was undertaken along with the nature club of Rizvicollege. The area is an dense forest with the river Vaitarna flowing along it side. More than 45 students attended the excursion which was undertaken in the month of September 2015.

A 3 day exhibition by the south Indian Educatiob Society in collaboration with ISRO was held on 18-20 september at SIES High School, matunga, Mumbai. Twenty students and two teachers, Mr. Vishwas Deshmukh, Mr. Pradnyesh Waghmare along with the Head Dr. Abhay Ranade visited the exhibition
A lecture by Russian Cosmonaut ‘SergelNikolayerichrevin’ was held by the sky theatre of Nehru planetarium Worli- Mumbai on 20th November 2019 at 6:15 pm. The Cosmonaut spent 124 days 23 hours 52 minutes in space. Dr. ranade head Dept of physics with 3 students from SY class attended the lecture and also a photo exhibition of Russian space exploration
Dr. Ranade organize a visit to a film show at a Nehru planetarium at 12 noon on 21st Dec, 2019. A film on “ stars and wonders of the Universe” 21 students and three teaching staff Mr. Vishwas Deshmukh, Mr Moharram Ali and Dr. Abhay Ranade attended the show. This event was jointly organized by Dept. of Physics and Science association.
